University provides secured technologies and web services for subscribers to manually transfer and UC to accept personal demographic, academic, and other confidential individual record level data necessary to conduct the evaluation by the UC Transcript Evaluation Service (“TES”)1. Through TES, UC evaluates data as a service for participating California public schools and districts to determine student progress toward meeting the eligibility requirements for the California’s public systems of higher education. UC will implement a cloud-based data warehouse and visualization solution with data provided by SUBSCRIBER, that they, their designees and other authorized parties can securely access. UC will provide annual regional training and referrals to implementation support services as requested.

Rationale:

Rationale:
The District requires a professional consultant to render certain services and training for the LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option and School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (SMAA) Program, and Lori A. Hill, is willing to provide such services through its School-Based Medicaid management programs Coordinator Services. In consultation with Lori Hill, the district is of the opinion that we will be able to realize a significant increase in the amount of revenues generated through the LEA Medi-Cal Billing Option and School-Based Medi-Cal Administrative Activities Programs.

In addition, this service provides the ability to create common district formative assessments. Contract includes a $10,000 fee for onsite training (5 days).

The outputs of the analysis power an online platform that serves as a decision-support system for educators within school, district, and state levels. The organization’s product, Clarity, measures modern learning outcomes and the factors that shape them –identifying strengths and gaps, writing detailed planning documents, and delivering the tools necessary to take action. The platform also tracks progress within the plan, and provides up-to-date reports that leaders can use to make a case for additional resources and report results to stakeholders. The data analysis will focus on technology and learning. It will include the use of surveys completed by students, parents and staff as well as the collection of various points of data to determine and guide decision-making in the investment of technology in our school district.

For the last two years we have been working with After School Unlimited to provide professional development to Expanded Learning Program staff. In April, two sites were selected for intensive professional development to implement the After School Staff Essential Training. There was a marked improvement in the quality of the programs at both sites so we would like to continue working with them and bring on board additional sites. Expanded Learning Staff will receive training, coaching and feedback and remote access to the consultant for the 2017-18 school year.

The Imperial County Office of Education Services Department licensed vocational nurse provides professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process to care for special needs students. The licensed vocational nurse is under the immediate direction of ICOE school nurse in implementing physician orders for services rendered to students enrolled in the ICOE - Special Education School based programs. The specific nursing services covered in this MOU are for medically necessary medical supervision of students during daily home to school transportation. Nurses ride on the bus with students to and from school. LEA's are responsible for costs of services provided to students before and after school.

The additional costs were estimated at $125,851 for a total of $160,709. Currently, the budget for testing and inspection is $279,000. These costs are included in the pool project budget. To date, Landmark has billed an additional $26,097.35 in Professional Services.
